Touched is a contemporary, high-energy, comedic, one-woman play.

The show is seen through Lesley’s eyes, a 36 year old from Manchester. She narrates her life from that earth-shattering moment as a plump 14 year old in 1984, when she hears ‘Like a Virgin’ for the very first time. Convinced that her desire to ‘have it all’ is inextricably linked with Madonna’s own life, the love affair of a lifetime begins…

Touched marks Sadie Frost’s return to stage acting. Sadie first tread the boards at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre - a city in which she spent much of her childhood - in Mumbo Jumbo under the direction of Nicholas Hytner. Sadie went on to star in more than 20 films including Francis Ford Coppola’s cult film Dracula, Uprising, Shopping and The Heavy, working alongside actors such as Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldman, Rhys Ifans, David Schwimmer, Jude Law, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. She has recently completed filming on two feature films and has just directed her first short film, Mrs. Olsen.

With classic songs from the 1980s and 1990s, Touched is an upbeat, nostalgic, fun evening of entertainment.
